Guided by a seemingly sentient childhood doll, Anne navigates seven chapters that revisit key locations from her life. Along the way, she relives traumas connected to bullying, self-worth issues, body dysmorphia, an eating disorder, and a suffocating relationship with her dominant, extravagant mother. A terrifying entity resembling her mother relentlessly pursues her throughout the experience.
The game expands the BrokenLore universe, revealing crucial backstory that ties directly into the characters and events of the previous title while shifting the horror from social media dread to intimate, domestic psychological terror.
